The Beginning

Welcome all!

If you feel deep down that you have much more to offer to this world than what you are currently giving, this is your place! 

I have created this blog to use as a platform for myself in order to keep my thoughts somewhere and see if anyone relates. Everything that I post to here will be raw thoughts straight from the noggin. Please excuse any grammatical errors as they will not hinder the message that I am trying to get across. 

A little bit of background about myself:

  • Former Student Athlete
  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • Master's Degree (MBA)... this holds very minimal weight in my own head
  • Currently working in Construction Managment in the Greater Philadelphia Area
  • I love building things, and I think construction is incredible, but I also believe that I have much more to offer to this world than anything I can accomplish in the Construction Industry
My intentions for this blog:

  • Put my thoughts out into the world to see if there are others who share similar views 
    • Connect with those people in order to identify what can be done 
  • Learn from anyone who is willing to take the time and share their perspective on the world
  • The end goal is to use all of this content to eventually create an end product that can help people live a life that they feel connected to, energized by, and proud of.
I know this is very vague, but this is why I am starting this blog. I am not 100% sure of my intentions but I am sure that something is brewing in my head I am determined to find out what this is. 

I won't be able to do this without others who are willing to share their viewpoints (ALL ARE WELCOME)

Preface: I totally get that this could come off as arrogant and privileged, it's just how I feel. Open to criticism. Okay, so recently I have been exposed to a bunch of new people. Analysis Paralysis, the Silent Killer

My Definition of  Analysis Paralysis :  - Knowing that you want to do something to change yourself for the better, but not knowing what that thing is or how to accomplish it. This uncertainty leads you into a cycle of procrastination and little to no action actually taken. Currently I am in the process of working out of a phase of my life. I am going to call this phase analysis paralysis. This phase started around my Senior year of college when it finally set in that I was going to have to join the real world and get a big boy job. Before this phase started, I would say that 90% of my mental energy was spent on being a great student athlete and thinking about how I could maximize the fun I was having each semester.  Now, with the thought of being a real person in mind, something clicked.
